Zusammenfassung:Summary form only given. Thin single crystal garnet films have drawn considerable interest in the past three decades for wide variety of magnetic and optical devices for memory, display, single processing and optical communication application. With bismuth substitution these materials are used in magneto-optic devices. To enhance magneto-optic effects, one requires control of the anisotropy K/sub u/, which can be achieved by optimising the Bi-content, growth parameters, presence of impurities like Pb-ions etc. The temperature dependence of ferromagnetic resonance line width, g/sub eff/ and uniaxial anisotropy are of significant relevance for device application and have not been studied widely. We study the magnetisation, g/sub eff/, uniaxial anisotropy and linewidth /spl Delta/H/sub /spl par// and /spl Delta/H/sub /spl perp// for liquid phase epitaxially grown thin films of composition Eu/sub 3-x/Bi/sub x/Fe/sub 5/O/sub 12/ (0/spl les/x/spl les/1.3) in the temperature range 77 to 600 K.
