Zusammenfassung: | Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is one of the emerging technologies which combinesensors and tiny embedded devices over a wireless communication medium nowadays. WSNsgather information from the environment by measuring mechanical, thermal, biological, chemical, optical or magnetic incidents and transmit the collected information from sensornodes to a sink node. However there are many sensors nodes which can be commercially soldin the markets, these nodes cost high prices and low cost and easy to build up sensor nodes areneeded in low budget applications. The aim of this study is to create a low cost wireless sensornetwork for environment monitoring by using Arduino Platform. In accordance to this aim,Arduino Uno R3 modules are used as wireless sensor network motes. Moreover, to collect datafrom nodes and communicate between our sensor nodes, a low cost radio transceiver calledNRF24L01+ is used for the wireless communication. In to monitor environment, four kinds ofsensors (temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide and methane) suitable for Arduino platformselected. In addition, the collected sensors data is displayed to users with a developed windowsapplication by using Visual Studio.Net Platform |
