Experts began to discuss China as a new hegemonic actor.In this regard, the National Security Strategy Document of the Trump Administrationwhich is also referred to as the Trump Doctrine reflects the USA concerns. Thearticle analyses the USA foreign policy towards Asia-Pacific and China based on thisdoctrine.
