Zusammenfassung:In order to expand students’ global vision and skills development, the Ministry of Education and universities in Taiwan have subsidized students to participate in international competitions since 2010. The study recruited 204 undergraduate students they won the prize from 2010-2016 from a university as the research group, and matching 204 no winning record students from the same college, department, grade and gender as the control group. We got the data from the school research database and employed Rogers regression and other methods to explore the difference between the two groups of learning outcomes. The results showed, female is the majority and there were 4 variables signifi cant differences between the two groups (p < 0.05), including the enrollment pipeline variable, class ranking percentage variable, book borrowing records variable and overseas study records variable. Generally speaking, the research group was better than the control group in learning outcomes. This is a case study on the cultivation
