Zusammenfassung:A new approach to the modelling of the Earth's crust, especiallyits upper crust portion, utilising different kinds of geodetic (vertical and deflectioncomponents, geoid surface), gravimetric (Bouguer and othergravity anomalies) and geophysical (3D seismic from bore holeprospecting) data is presented in this paper. This scientific researchformed part of a special contract between the Faculty of Geodesy andINA-Naftaplin, with the aim of establishing the gravity field over atest area in northern Croatia. It should improve the geophysicalprospection for minerals, particularly in the field of hydrocarbonexploration.
