Zusammenfassung: | Underlying the scientific method developed by Thorndycraft et al. (2019, T19 hereafter) for the morphological analysis is the idea that producing a large enough landform dataset treated statistically would facilitate quantification of regional isostatic rebound together with the reconstruction of the Lago Chalenko paleolake history. Also, they associate the landform dataset to a Bayesian modeling of ages. This Comment adresses 5 key points questionning the proposed assumptions. |
