Zusammenfassung:The spider mite genus Schizotetranychus Trägårdh (Prostigmata: Tetranychidae) is recorded for the first time from Saudi Arabia with the description and illustration of a new species, Schizotetranychus astragalus sp. nov. based on females and males collected from Astragalus sp., (Fabaceae). A diagnostic key to Schizotetranychus species of the group 15 is also provided.
