Zusammenfassung:A new troglobiont species, Foveacheles uralensis n. sp., is described from the Gremutshaya, Rossiyskaya, and the Shulgan-Tash caves of the Ural Mountains. The new species is characterized by intermediate character states between the genera Foveacheles and Traegaardhia and its taxonomic position is discussed. The current state of the troglobiont and stygobiont arthropod fauna of the Ural Mountain caves is also discussed.
