Zusammenfassung: | The global economy has just experienced an unprecedented economic and financial crisis, the COVID-19 crisis. Dubbed by the IMF "The Great Lockdown," COVID-19 would probably be the most violent and unprecedented crisis ever experienced by the world economy. Without going so far as to argue that it has sounded the end of neoliberal capitalism, the COVID-19 crisis would have accelerated the significant transformations of economies and societies. Finance is far from immune to its considerable changes. This chapter aims to identify the challenges facing finance as these significant technological, environmental, and regulatory transformations occur.
This chapter highlights the significant transformations that finance is facing today, which require a rethinking of existing models through critical analysis. The aim is to identify critical issues and challenges and develop the various research paths that need to be explored by researchers and practitioners to adapt finance to the significant transformations that have already begun. |
