Zusammenfassung:Ceratosolen silvestrianus and C. arabicus are two species of agaonine fig wasps that co-occur in the figs of Ficus sur in West Africa. Our work in the Ivory Coast shows that both are active pollinators, and that they may be found together in the same syconia. In our study area, C. silvestrianus is much more abundant than C. flabellatus. We found no competitive effect for oviposition sites on C. silvestrianus, and hypothesize that habitat preferences allow the coexistence of two sympatric active pollinators in the same Ficus host in the Ivory Coast.
