Influence of the formulation on the sorption and the mobility of diuron in soil
Three experimental formulations of diuron were applied to a clay loam soil, and sorption and mobility of the pesticide were compared. The formulations were termed MD1, MD2, and MD3. The size of grains was 5 mu m for MD1 and MD2, and 1 mu m for MD3. The MD1 formulation also contained a small amount o...

Zusammenfassung: | Three experimental formulations of diuron were applied to a clay loam soil, and sorption and mobility of the pesticide were compared. The formulations were termed MD1, MD2, and MD3. The size of grains was 5 mu m for MD1 and MD2, and 1 mu m for MD3. The MD1 formulation also contained a small amount of oil. Higher diuron concentrations on soil were found for MD1. In addition, the presence of oil in MD1 increased diuron solubility and its kinetic of dissolution. |
