APLICACIÓN DEL PROCESO ANALÍTICO JERÁRQUICO A LA VALORACIÓN DE FUTBOLISTAS

The aim of this paper is to introduce the application of the multicriteria methodology AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) on the valuation of football players. This is a pioneering work in this field. The importance of the topic is very relevant, given the size of football's economy. The main advantages of this novel valuation methodology are that it can be used even though the number of comparables is scarce and that all the process is trazable and transparent. In this paper, following the description of the valuation methodology, a real-life application is presented. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la aplicación de la metodología multicriterio AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) a la valoración de futbolistas. Se trata de un trabajo pionero en el sector del fútbol, de indudable importancia económica. Las principales ventajas de esta novedosa metodología valorativa consisten en que se puede utilizar aun en entornos con escasos comparables y que permite la trazabilidad del proceso con total transparencia. En este trabajo, tras la presentación de la metodología valorativa, se muestra un ejemplo de aplicación real.
