Zusammenfassung:•The section AuSb–InSb of the ternary phase diagram Au–In–Sb is investigated for the first time.•Eight ternary invariant reactions are identified in the quadrilateral (AuIn–InSb–Sb–Au).•A representation of the (liquid+solid) equilibria in the whole ternary system is proposed. The phase diagram of the section AuSb–InSb in the Au–In–Sb system is established using differential scanning calorimetry. The results identify eight ternary invariants in the quadrilateral AuIn–InSb–Sb–Au: three eutectic-type reactions at (413.17, 386.6 and 355.4)°C; four quasi-peritectic reactions at (390.7, 376.1, 370.3 and 358.4)°C and one ternary peritectic at 396.2°C. By taking into account the data of the literature, a representation of the ternary equilibria is given.
