Zusammenfassung:The ASP included several components: guideline revision, information and education, regular ward rounds and intensified infectious disease consultations, and feedback, and was implemented in several medical departments of this university hospital centre. 7 Using interrupted time-series analyses, which are recommended in uncontrolled quasi-experimental studies, the authors showed that their strategy led to a significantly accelerated decrease in cephalosporin use, but not to a significant decrease of fluoroquinolones and total antibiotic use in the ED.
