Zusammenfassung:Thermal inversion, using correlation microwave thermometry, consists in estimating subsurface temperature gradients existing in a lossy material. An experimental evaluation is presented of a new thermal inversion approach, based on applying the Kalman algorithm to radiometric signals. These signals are surface measured using an experimental bench piloted by a computer.
