Magnetic coupling and long-range order in the spin-chain sulfide Ba2CoS3

In Ba2CoS3, Co2+ cations are in a high spin state and their intra-chain antiferromagnetic coupling constant was calculated. A transition to long-range order was identified to occur at 46 K.
