The crystal structure of calcium oxalate trihydrate; Ca(H2O)3(C2O4)
The crystal structure converged to R = 0.034 based on 697 reflections. It is triclinic P1, a 7.45(6), b 8.600(7), c 6.099(5) , alpha 112.30(5)o, beta 108.87(5)o, gamma 89.92(5)o, with 2Ca(H2O)3(C2O4) per unit cell. The structure is discussed and illustrated. The method of synthesis is also given.
