The review primarily focused on the inventory of the contained species, as well as determining their richness, diversity, and evaluating the coverage of collections in Durango. The results revealed that the collection contains 1027 specimens distributed across 17 families and 86 species, with Noctuidae being the most represented. This collection is considered a valuable resource for understanding the distribution of these insects in the region, emphasizing its importance to researchers interested in their diversity.
