Zusammenfassung:The aim of this study was to share experiences and reflect on the Children's Marathon Project carried out by the Physical Education team in partnership with the pedagogical team of the College Lieutenant Rego Barros on the importance of games and games for the integral development of students. It should be noted that the theoretical framework adopted in the research, counted on the contributions of renowned authors in the field of education such as, Wiertsema (1998), Brougere (1010), Ausubel (1963, 1968) and Moreira (2010). The main objective of this article was the description of pedagogical practices developed through the Children's Marathon Project, in which the work axis was some crucial themes for the student training such as: health, citizenship, ethics, and the importance of play and the contributions of interactions and play. The article is presented as follows, first the project of the Children's Marathon was presented, then the intended audience, then the importance of the re-significance of sports practices in Physical Education classes was addressed. Later, the main objective of the project was presented, the conception of its creation, the social context of play, of play and games. In addition, the issue of free choice for children during the play process was addressed. He then describes how the "Children's Marathon" took place, then highlights the important contribution of the Physical Education teacher and presents a brief assessment of the development of the "Children's Marathon" project in relation to the interaction between children during the games and ends up resuming the role of the Physical Education professional towards its students. O objetivo desse estudo foi compartilhar experiencias e refletir a respeito do Projeto da Maratona Infantil realizado pela equipe de Educacao Fisica em parceria com a equipe pedagogica do Colegio Tenente Rego Barros sobre a importancia dos jogos e das brincadeiras para o desenvolvimento integral dos alunos. Destaca-se que o referencial teorico adotado na pesquisa, contou com as contribuicoes de renomados autores do campo da educacao tais como, Wiertsema (1998), Brougere (1010), Ausubel (1963, 1968) e Moreira (2010).
