Engineering careers play a fundamental role in the growth of countries, generating the need for students to develop their choices based on the higher education courses on offer in each region. In the case of the state of Amazonas, the industrial center offers significant employment opportunities for students and educational and employment management requires appropriate training processes for this context. Given these premises, this study analyzes a set of activities carried out with high school students from the 1st to the 3rd grades related to the engineering profession. Year related to the engineering profession from the perspective of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The process was accompanied by questionnaires answered by the students. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that the students' interest in the courses was intermediate, with average scores close to 3.00, and moderately higher values for areas such as Computer Engineering, followed by Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering. The whole process indicated the need to carry out such actions at the school in order to provide greater knowledge of the courses so that students with professional inclinations of this nature can opt for such careers in higher education. As carreiras de engenharia desempenham um papel fundamental no crescimento dos paises, gerando a necessidade de os estudantes desenvolverem suas escolhas a partir dos cursos de nivel superior ofertados em cada regiao. No caso do estado de Amazonas, o polo industrial oferece relevantes oportunidades laborais para os estudantes, e a gestao educacional e laboral demanda processos formativos adequados para este contexto. Diante de tais premissas, o presente estudo compreende a analise de um conjunto de atividades desenvolvidas com estudantes do Ensino Medio do 1. ao 3. ano relacionadas com a profissao do engenheiro na perspectiva da Ciencia, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matematica.
