Zusammenfassung:The acai palm is a plant of great economic importance to the Northern Region of Brazil. From its fruit, the pulp is extracted, which has high nutritional value and is widely consumed by the population. After the pulp is extracted, the seed presents a mesocarp with fibrous material that has been studied by science. However, there is not yet an efficient method for removing this material. In this sense, the present research aimed to evaluate three methods and eight application times for the extraction of all material from the acai seed for application in civil engineering. The research was developed in a laboratory using material from local beaters. The methods of sieving, electromechanical sanding, and grinding in a hammer mill were tested at times of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 90, and 120 seconds. The results after statistical analysis showed that the removal method using the hammer mill was the most efficient, with a recommended time of 60 seconds of grinding at maximum rotation. Keywords: Sustainability; production chain; Rondonia; income generation. O acaizeiro e uma planta de grande importancia economica para a Regiao Norte do Brasil. De seu fruto, e extraida a polpa de grande valor nutricional bastante consumida pela populacao. Apos extracao da polpa, o caroco apresenta um mesocarpo com material fibroso que tem sido estudado pela ciencia. No entanto, nao se tem ainda um metodo eficiente para retirada desse material. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa objetivou avaliar tres metodos e oito tempos de aplicacao para extracao de todo material do caroco do acai para aplicacao na engenharia civil. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em laboratorio utilizando material oriundo de batedouros locais. Foram testados os metodos de peneiramento, lixamento eletromecanico e moagem em moinho de martelo nos tempos de 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 90 e 120 segundos. Os resultados apos analises estatisticas mostraram que o metodo de remocao utilizando o moinho de martelo foi o mais eficiente sendo indicado o tempo de 60 segundos de moagem na maxima rotacao.
