This Experience Report is the result of a project in the discipline of Interprofessionality and Interdisciplinarity in Health Teaching, of the Master's Degree in Health Teaching and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, at the Federal University of Alagoas. With the proposal of the subject's teachers to improve the performance of the interdisciplinary team in the students' field of activity. The work of an interdisciplinary team was identified in a pediatric clinic, where a project was initiated within this sector and for this purpose, a Working Group was set up to provide multidisciplinary information to the parents of the Clinic's patients. It reports on the creation and successful performance of the interdisciplinary group, with the purpose of expanding the team's work in the clinic. Given the need to offer informational and emotional support to parents and companions, the group was designed with an interdisciplinary approach. The goals are to promote effective communication and provide clear information about the patient's diagnosis. Furthermore, the challenges faced during the process are addressed and the strategies adopted to overcome them. The results obtained point to a noticeable improvement in parents' understanding, the improvement of stress in the environment and the strengthening of the quality of patient care. Este Relato de Experiencia e resultado de um projeto da disciplina de Interprofissionalidade e Interdisciplinaridade no Ensino na Saude, do Mestrado de Ensino e Pesquisa em Saude da Faculdade de Medicina, da Universidade Federal de Alagoas. Com a proposta dos docentes da disciplina para melhorar a atuacao da equipe interdisciplinar no campo de atuacao dos discentes. Identificou-se a atuacao de equipe interdisciplinar em uma clinica pediatrica, onde foi iniciado um projeto dentro deste setor e para isso, foi constituido um Grupo de Trabalho para esclarecimento multidisciplinar aos pais dos pacientes da Clinica. E relatado sobre a criacao e atuacao bem- sucedida do grupo interdisciplinar, com o proposito de ampliar a atuacao da equipe na clinica. Diante da necessidade de oferecer suporte informativo e emocional aos pais e acompanhantes, o grupo foi concebido com uma abordagem interdisciplinar.
