Zusammenfassung:This study investigates the relationship between diet, sports and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), an endocrine condition common in women of reproductive age, with a variety of symptoms, such as changes in the menstrual cycle, increased male hormones and the formation of cysts in the ovaries. PCOS presents challenges for both patients and healthcare professionals responsible for diagnosis and treatment. In this research, we adopted a bibliographic methodology to examine what the scientific literature has already identified on the topic. We assume the importance of a woman's comprehensive quality of life in treating symptoms and improving the clinical condition. From the literature review, we highlight the importance of a balanced diet and regular physical activity in the management of PCOS, with an emphasis on modulating symptoms, hormonal regulation and improving insulin sensitivity. We identified gaps in the literature, pointing to the need for longitudinal studies and randomized clinical trials to elucidate the pathophysiological mechanisms of PCOS and develop more effective therapeutic interventions. Keywords: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome; diet; physical activity; bibliographic review.
