MENTAL HEALTH OF THE MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM: CHALLENGES, CHARACTERISTICS AND MEANS OF PREVENTING DISORDERS/SAUDE MENTAL DA EQUIPE MULTIDISCIPLINAR: DESAFIOS, CARACTERISTICAS E MEIOS DE PREVENCAO DOS TRANSTORNOS/ SALUD MENTAL DEL EQUIPO MULTIDISCIPLINARIO: RETOS, CARACTERISTICAS Y MEDIOS PARA PREVENIR LOS TRANSTORNOS

Professionals in the multidisciplinary health team are constantly susceptible to precarious working conditions. These conditions are responsible for workers' mental illness, directly impacting the production of care. This study aims to describe the challenges experienced by the multidisciplinary team, as well as identify the characteristics and means of preventing mental disorders. The Virtual Health Library was used as a database and the keywords used as combinations of descriptors: mental health and collective illnesses in addition to mental health and patient care team, finding 22.437 results. After evaluating the 18 articles selected through filtering, similarities were noted in practically all research questions. Regarding the difficulties faced by health professionals, the precariousness of the work environment, the impact of dealing with death, the lack of material offered in the environment and the lack of PPE stand out. As for the main acquired disorders, stress, aggression and Burnout syndrome stand out. Furthermore, the main signs and symptoms manifested in the articles were seen, which are tension, anxiety, depression, loss of sleep quality, among others. As for suggestions on how to alleviate this mental burden, "decompression rooms" are mainly recommended for professionals during their work period. With the development of this study, it is possible to infer the great difficulty faced by all health professionals. With this in mind, actions must be developed at all government levels to improve the working conditions of these professionals. Esse estudo tem como objetivo descrever os desafios vivenciados pela equipe multidisciplinar, assim como, identificar as caracteristicas e meios de prevencao dos transtornos mentais.
