Zusammenfassung:This account of experience gathered the learning and experiences of 18 Territories and Areas Conserved by Indigenous Peoples and Traditional and Local Communities (TICCAs) projects. The projects were implemented by community associations, labor unions/rural workers and advisory organizations between the years 2020 to 2023, in several municipalities of the Cerrado biome. The projects sought diverse solutions for strengthening community governance in the TICCAs territories and recovering the impacts generated by the COVID 19 pandemic. The main impacts of the pandemic reported by communities relate to territorial and food insecurity and lack of access to health services. PPP-ECOS has prioritized support for a range of actions proposed by communities to build resilience in their territories. The main difficulty faced by the communities is the protection of their territories. Internal conflicts also generate territorial and land insecurity. The main results achieved by the projects were 322,000 ha of Cerrado conserved by means of sustainable management; 119 strengthened communities and 2,091 families benefited; besides 98 training processes promoted for 1.203 persons.
