Zusammenfassung:Introduction: Monitoring physical growth is one of the most important indicators of child health. Thus, the objective was to investigate anthropometric indices and associated factors in early childhood, in a municipality in Minas Gerais. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional quantitative study. Children's nutritional status was characterized using the anthropometric indicators Weight for Age, Height for Age and Body Mass Index for Age. Consumption of ultra-processed foods was assessed using consumption markers. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyzes were performed. Results: 179 children under twenty-four months of age were studied, 52.5% were male. The prevalence of overweight was 31.8% and consumption of ultra-processed foods was present in at least 30% of the sample. There was a statistical association (p
