Bioethics, a discipline of philosophical structure. Reflections on the methods of Bioethics/ BIOETICA, UNA DISCIPLINA DE ESTRUCTURA FILOSOFICA. REFLEXIONES SOBRE LOS METODOS DE LA BIOETICA

This work aims to show that bioethics currently, although it requires the application of knowledge from heterogeneous disciplines, in turn faces various controversies that have a philosophical structure. In order to support a philosophical perspective as a central problem, the method of approach of the present proposal contemplates an analysis about the type of inquiries that characterize bioethics, the delimitation of the object studied, the most relevant methodological proposals that have been proposed and those alternatives. of search that seek to distance themselves from philosophical reflection, parallel to the various conceptualizations that start from morality and end in casuistry. The central argument is that bioethics addresses moral uncertainties that arise in interaction with life, but moral uncertainties are the object on which ethics reflects, and if ethics is a discipline that is resolved by appealing to the methods of philosophy, with this work we intend to conclude that bioethics must necessarily have a philosophical structure.
