Zusammenfassung: | Choosing a reputable school is increasingly challenging for parents. They consider various factors when selecting a school, with parental demographics playing a vital role. This study explores the link between parental demographics and school choice. Through exploratory research, key criteria, such as academic quality, values education, infrastructure, inclusivity, administration, location, and reputation, were identified. One-way ANOVA analysis revealed significant differences in these criteria based on mothers' and fathers' ages, fathers' education, dual-income status, and household income. These findings offer valuable insights for school administrators to understand students' choices and the impact of parental socio-demographics on these decisions. Keywords: school selection, parents' demographics, education, income, occupation |
