Zusammenfassung: | This study aimed to determine the satisfaction levels among undergraduates and graduates of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department under the Faculty of Health Sciences of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). The participants in the study were EMU's Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department undergraduates and graduates. The participants' sociodemographic and academic information was recorded. The Satisfaction Level Survey of Physiotherapy Students (SLS-PT) A-F categories was used to assess the satisfaction levels of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduates. Category G was utilised to determine the satisfaction levels of graduates in the study. A total of 71 people were studied, including 43 undergraduates (mean age: 21.51[+ or -]1.57) and 28 graduates (mean age: 25,71[+ or -]1,18) from the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation program. The SLS-PT-Fa subcategory received the highest level of satisfaction (39.25 points), while the SLS-PT-A subcategory had the lowest level of satisfaction (34.46 points) for undergraduates. The SLS- PT-Gb (41.95 points) subcategory received the highest degree of satisfaction, while SLS-PT-Ga (34.23 points) subcategory had the lowest level of satisfaction among the graduates. EMU Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department undergraduates and graduates were found to have high overall satisfaction levels. Student satisfaction was highest for content, planning and execution of course programs; increased theoretical knowledge and communication skills through internships; and adequate internet access and computer laboratories. However, it was lowest for student decision prioritisation, measurability of success through exams, internship duration, patient diversity, and transportation network sufficiency. The highest levels of satisfaction among graduates were for the quality of undergraduate education and healthcare collaboration, while the lowest levels of satisfaction were for the role of the faculty in obtaining a job and lifetime learning awareness. |
