Zusammenfassung: | Cervical disc herniations affects different age groups especially the young population with habits of a sedentary lifestyle, long working hours over the computer, and poor neck postures who present with acute disc herniations. Cervical radiculopathy commonly presents with pain, paresthesia and motor weakness. Traditional surgical options available are anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) and Posterior Cervical Foraminotomy (PCF). However both the procedures have some disadvantages. With evolution of endoscopy in recent times provide better opportunity. Here we mention Full Endoscopic posterior cervical laminoforaminotomy and discectomy technique. It is the most advanced technique for single-level lateral and foraminal disc prolapses causing monoradiculopathy, we found this procedure is safe and effective minimally invasive technique for lateral soft herniations and foraminal stenosis. It has lesser complications and better post-op recovery. |
