Zusammenfassung:Introduction : Bisphenol A (BPA) is a plastic leak out. Its adverse effects are well known. However, its effect on the gut microbiome is incompletely understood. Objective: To study the effect of BPA on the growth of E. coli MTCC 1687. Methods: In silico and in-vitro studies are employed to known the effect of BPA on the growth of E. coli MTCC 1687 Result: BPA is found to inhibit the growth of the studied bacteria. Conclusion: E. coli MTCC 1687 is collected from human faeces. So, we believe that the effect of BPA in the human gut microbiome is worth investigating. Keywords: Bisphenol A, E coli, Microbiome
