Studies on Methylglyoxal-Modified-IgG Under Normal and High Glucose

IgG (6.67 [micro]M) was transferred to assay tubes containing 5 mM/10 mM glucose and mixed. To this mixture 6.67 [micro]M MGO was rapidly added and incubated for 7 days at 37 0C in capped glass vials. Zusammenfassung:IgG (6.67 [micro]M) was transferred to assay tubes containing 5 mM/10 mM glucose and mixed. To this mixture 6.67 [micro]M MGO was rapidly added and incubated for 7 days at 37 0C in capped glass vials. The modification was studied by UV absorbance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, far UV and near UV circular dichroism, thioflavin T fluorescence, Congo red binding, SEM, TEM, FTIR spectroscopy and LC-MS.
