Zusammenfassung: | Introduction and Objectives: Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is characterized by nephrotic-range proteinuria, often occurs as a part of a systemic illness with an inflammatory state. Serum highly sensitive C Reactive Protein (hsCRP) level is a well-recognized marker of inflammation and NS in children is not characterized by significant loss of CRP into the urine. So study was aimed to evaluate serum CRP levels. Bone-specific alkaline phosphatase, which is one of the isoenzymes, is produced by osteoblast, and a good marker of bone formation and was also assessed to see the effect of NS in bone metabolism. Material and Methods: 40 children with first episode nephrotic syndrome attending with age >1 year and |
