Zusammenfassung:Dialkyl (2Z)-2-[(2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazinylidene]butanedioates have been synthesized by reaction of dialkyl (2Z)-2-hydroxybut-2-enedioates with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine, and their structure has been studied by IR and [sup.1]H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and X-ray analysis.
