Zusammenfassung: | This article analyzed how the operationalization of the National Program for the Strengthening of Family Farm (PRONAF, in Portuguese) was configured in Maraba between 2013 and 2019 and what were its implications in the 26 of March Settlement (Assentamento 26 de Marco, in Portuguese), located in Maraba municipality, Southeast of Para. The following question guided us: what was the Pronaf's demeanor in Maraba in the context analyzed? What were its implications in the 26 of March Settlement? To answer them, we have used the following methodological procedures: bibliographic-documental survey, field research in which we have realized interviews and participant observation in 2017 and 2018, and quantitative and qualitative approach. We found that: (i) Pronaf's demeanor is associated with cattle raising Maraba municipality; (ii) and the operationalization of the federal program did not include the diversity of the agroecological production systems of its public in the 26 of March Settlement. In general, we claim that the skewed demeanor of the Pronaf does not strengthen its public. Finally, we show some limits and possibilities for the following years. |
