Zusammenfassung: | According to Andina (2011) the Peasant Agroecological Family Agriculture (AFAC) is proposed as an agriculture characterized by family workforce mainly; marked dependence on the goods and services provided by the natural (ecological) environment and its own agroecosystem; small and highly diversified production scale; development of its own technology adapted to its ecological, social and cultural condition; and immersed in the development dynamics of its community and region. The objective of this work was to identify the ecosystemic attributes of peasant family production units in the Cormechoque River microbasin, in Boyaca. The characterization is the description of the main attributes of the interactions between the components of the productive system. Typification refers to the establishment and construction of possible types of producers based on the characteristics observed (Mora et al., 2011). Visits were made to the respective productive units, as well as interviews and surveys to the producers. The presence and impact of variables such as: soil management, water management, agricultural diversity, agricultural practices, family, and housing were evaluated. Multivariate statistical analysis was done obtaining 4 differentiated groups with similar characteristics within each group. Their distribution percentage were 26.7%, 23.3%, 23.3% and 26.7%, respectively. Keywords: Peasant Family Agriculture; agroecosystems; social technologies; peasant economy.
