Zusammenfassung:In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization advised that countries restrict the movement of people to prevent the spread of the virus and create alternatives for coping with the disease. Quarantine has had economic and social consequences in many states. Considering the States of the Global South, there are effects on specific social groups, including women. This paper aims to put in the question where the place of women is in the management of the pandemic, highlighting the female agency in the construction of alternatives for societies. This objective will be achieved through a post-colonial feminist analysis, based on the methodological application of case studies on three initiatives by groups of women in the South: the "Coronadamas" in Iran; indigenous women from Santiago Jocotepec, Mexico, and the decision-making process of women in West Africa.
