Goals: Nursing care plan during hospitalization to improve clinical condition in 7 days. Objectives: To review the interprofessional guidelines based on evidence about impaired cardiovascular system and develop a care plan for the client. Background: The impaired cardiovascular system among nursing diagnoses is the most prevalent in clients admitted to units that require intensive care. Search strategies: Integrative literature review by searching online, computerized and / or manual databases. Inclusion criteria: articles available in full between 2012 to 2019. Exclusion: incomplete articles and outside the time frame. Conclusions: From this study, it is clear that the process of systematizing nursing care is fundamental in the formulation of diagnoses listed in cardiovascular care. Relevance to clinical practice: objectively identify nursing diagnoses and interventions for patients with impaired cardiovascular systems.
