Zusammenfassung: | There are controversies over the treatment of intertrochanteric femoral fractures with paries medialis defect. This study aimed to investigate whether intramedullary nails are superior to extramedullary fixation. Retrospective study was conducted to compare the short-term and mid-term clinical outcomes using dynamic hip screw (DHS), percutaneous compression plate (PCCP), and proximal femoral nail anti-rotation (PFNA). A total of 126 patients of intertrochanteric femoral fractures with paries medialis defect were enrolled in this study, and divided into DHS group (n=24), PCCP group (n=34) and PFNA group (n=68) according to the treatment. Demographical data, surgical data, short-term and mid-term outcomes were collected and analyzed. There was no significant difference between three groups in demographics including age, gender, BMI and comorbidities (all P>0.05). The blood loss of the PCCP group was significantly lower than the DHS and PFNA group (P |
