Bariatric surgery is an effective method of treatment for obesity because it leads to a decrease in weight and consequent reduction of morbidities associated with excess weight. This study aimed to evaluate the weight loss and quality of life of individuals who underwent bariatric surgery. Evaluated patients of both sexes aged over 18 years, undergoing bariatric surgery for at a week of surgery. A questionnaire was used, containing information about general patient data. They were also collected anthropometric data such as weight, height and waist circumference. Obtaining post-surgical weight was collected in the patient.
