Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents professional and teaching experiences conducted to support the development of restoration projects of the old Instituto Profissional Bento Quirino, educational buildings designed by Francisco de Paula Ramos de Aze vedo in 1916, currently under the care of Universidade Estadual de Campinas. In addition to contribute for future projects for the reoccupation of these buildings, these studies extend into the positive establishment of protocols for analysis of similar historical architectures in the State of Sao Paulo. Discussing questions related to architectural restoration education in Brazilian Architecture and Urbanism undergraduation courses, its advances and insufficiencies, the article describes two intertwined practices, survey and technical evaluation of these constructions classified by heritage institutions that hosted for 47 years the Colegio Tecnico de Campinas. The text exposes procedures for planning and enabling preservation works of university's properties with historical and cultural value. The result was the consolidation of discipline "Architectural Restoration Laboratory: theory and practice", directed for the deeper understanding of operational methods of formal and material investigation of built architecture under technical and conservational perspective to graduate and undergraduate students. |
