THE RECOGNITION PROCESS RIGHTS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES IN LATIN AMERICA UNDER THE AEGIS OF INTERAMERICAMO SYSTEM PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS/O PROCESSO DE RECONHECIMENTO DOS DIREITOS DOS POVOS INDIGENAS NA AMERICA LATINA SOB A EGIDE DO SISTEMA INTERAMERICAMO DE PROTECAO DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS

In this article will discuss, briefly, the process of internationalization of human rights and the formation of the International System of Human Rights, with emphasis on the American System of Human Rights Protection. Will be held, also, a general analysis of the organization, movements and protests launched by indigenous peoples in Latin America, especially in the international harvest. Thus shall be discuss is about some of the major international documents for protection of rights, such as the American Convention on Human Rights, the number 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, the Convention on Cultural Diversity and the UN Declaration on the rights of Indigenous Peoples. Finally, an analysis of the Federal Constitutions of Brazil, Bolivia and Ecuador will be promoted, in order to identify the main secured rights and ways to be effective.
