Zusammenfassung:Salmonella osteomyelitis is rare in immunocompetent patients and commonly seen in patients with underlying disease such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, diabetes mellitus or immunocompromised disease. We report a case of skin and soft tissue infection and osteomyelitis due to Salmonella enteritidis in a 72 years old male with no significant comorbidities succesfully treated with antimicrobial therapy and surgical intervention. Salmonella osteomyeliti immunokompetan hastalarda nadirdir ve siklikla orak hucreli anemi, talasemi, diabetes mellitus gibi hastaliklari olan ve immunosupresyon altindaki hastalarda gorulur. Bu yazida 72 yasinda altta yatan hastaligi olmayan bir erkekte ortaya cikan Salmonella enteritidis'e bagli deri ve yumusak doku infeksiyonu ve osteomyelit olgusu bildirilmistir. Hasta antimikrobiyal tedavi ve cerrahi girisimle basarili sekilde tedavi edilmistir. Klimik Dergisi 2017; 30(2): 93-5.
