Zusammenfassung:The integration of sustainability into educational content promotes the formation of citizens responsible for their actions and aware of their role in society. When introduced into the classroom, this subject is also relevant to management students who will directly or indirectly influence organizations' decision makers who, in turn, are responsible for the development of nations and for many of the problems sustainability theories are trying to solve. This qualitative study has the objective of investigating how this subject is integrated in higher education business courses. Bibliographic review, document analysis and field research are employed, focusing on the role played by teachers in the dissemination of content on sustainability through academic activities. It was found that teachers considered sustainability relevant to the training of future managers and business majors, but there are differing views on its scope.
