Zusammenfassung:Drug addiction continues to be one of the most significant problems of today's world. It is escalating at an alarming rate among youth with each passing day. This rise has a detrimental impact on the culture and society. There is no apparent reason behind this addiction as it was observed that people become addicted for a variety of reasons like peer pressure, competition, family problems, work pressure etc. Moreover, mental illness is common amongst a population suffering from substance abuse and addiction. The relationship is so strong that many people believe the drugs play a causative role in the development of the mental illness. It is evident that positive psychological states such as hope, meaning in life, spirituality, social, emotional well-being, etc as important determinants of individual's health. Present study took three important positive determinants of mental health that are hope, meaning in life and well-being and examines the relationship between them among drug addicts. The total sample consists of 100 male respondents from Delhi out of which only 30 respondents correctly and fully answered the questionnaire. The correlation analysis reveals significant correlation between hope, meaning in life and well--being among drug addicts. Keywords: Drug Addiction, Hope, Meaning of Life, Well-being.
