Synthesis, Structure, and Analgesic Properties of Phosphorylated Dihydro-1,4-Benzodiazepin-2-Ones

Condensation of 3-hydroxy-5-aryl-1.2-dihydro-3 H -1.4-benzodiazepin-2-ones with diphenylchlorophosphine was found to produce 3- or 5-diphenylphosphine oxides with high analgesic activity; ED 50 values were (0.08 ± 0.02) – (0.97 ± 0.27) mg/kg.
