Zusammenfassung:This paper aims at presenting a theoretical and epistemological proposal for the study of the "arts of making" management in the public school, considering the meso-level of analysis. The idea is to understand how the "arts of making" management in the daily social practices of the school principal and her/his school community are (re)shaped. For this, one suggests the approach by Certeau (2008), through the notion of everyday life, in which his concepts of "place", "space", "self", "other", "strategies", and "tactics" are included. As a methodological proposal, an investigation "in/on/with" everyday life (ALVES and GARCIA, 2002; FERRACO, 2007; GARCIA, 2003) was adopted, based on the work by Certeau (2008) and highlighting a need to "dive" into the everyday life studied by the researcher. This a contribution to an advancement in the ethnographic strategy, beyond the dense description "on" the other, but, instead, developing a description "with" the other, who is, thus, also a subject and not only a research object. It is expected, as an outcome, to contribute to the improvement of the studies on management as a practice, here approached as "arts of making" in the everyday life of organizations.
