Zusammenfassung:The reduction in physical activity associated with inadequate nutrition provides increased body mass in children, which may be related to the accumulation of body fat, and thus reflect negatively on health. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze the body mass and hemodynamic conditions of children, after a session of futsal reduced. The study included eight volunteers, aged between 10 and 11 years. Were measured, height and body mass (BM), and subsequently calculated the body mass index (BMI). Blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) were measured at three time points: (M0) at rest (M1) and right after (M2) after 10 min. We conducted a game of futsal reduced (FR) for 40 min, with two teams with four members. There was significant reduction in rest between BM 55.7[+ or -]5.9 for the obtained post training 55.4[+ or -]6.0 (p=0.04), and, compared to BMI 24.7[+ or -]2.4 kg/[m.sup.2] rest times versus post training 24.6[+ or -]2.4 kg/[m.sup.2] (p=0.04). There were no statistically significant variations in BP and HR in the three time points analyzed. Thus, it is suggested that the activity of FR favors considerable caloric expenditure in children, which may reflect the reduction of body mass acutely, without however promote significant changes in hemodynamic variables, thus showing an activity safe and effective for the control and/or reduce overweight in children.
