Zusammenfassung: | This article had as objective to validate mathematical an equation developed esteem the maximum load of 1RM, in the exercise previous knob, using two variable: maximum load and repetitions. Having as objective practical to offer a fast, practical form and it needs, to calculate the load of 1RM. The sample was composed for 15 men (age = 25.9 ± 3.5 years, weight = 80.7 ± 10.8 kg, height = 176 ± 7.8 cm, BMI = 26.0 ± 2.1 kg/[m.sup.2]) used to verify if the mathematical equation would be supported through a process of crossed validation. The dependent variable of the study was Dynamic Maximum Force, gotten through the test of 1RM, being independent the preditivas: variable of maximum repetitions (RMs), gotten through the test of maximum repetitions.
