Zusammenfassung:The distribution of hydrocarbon biomarkers ( n -alkanes, isoprenanes, steranes, terpanes, etc.) in oils selected from different areas of Samara oblast was studied. Three groups and two genetic types of oils, the Domanik genetic type (corresponds to supra-Domanik marine geochemical type) and the Devonian terrigenous genetic type (corresponds to sub-Domanik coastal-marine geochemical type), have been identified.
